The Annual Meeting of the Provincial Grand Conclave of Surrey was held at the Surbiton Masonic Centre on Saturday 25th May 2013.

Our honoured guests included 23 Provincial Grand Supreme Rulers, their Deputies and Recorders and other brethren from neighbouring Provinces and other Right Worthy Brethren, together with a number of heads of Orders in Surrey
R Wy Laurence James Young, Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler for Surrey presided in his usual friendly and welcoming manner.

The Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler re-appointed R Wy Bro Lionel B Mee as Deputy Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler and thanked him for his help and support over the past twelve months.

The Officers for the year were Appointed and Invested. The Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler then appointed the Commander and Deputy Commander of his Arch of Steel and was introduced to its members.

Brethren who had been Inducted into the Order in Surrey during the past year were acknowledged, those in attendance being personally received and welcomed by the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler. During his annual address to the assembled members and visitors, the R Wy Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler thanked all members of the Province for their continued support and requested them to continue to seek out from their Craft Lodges suitable members for this wonderful Order.

At the conclusion of the meeting, after a well-deserved drink in the bar, 86 members, visitors and guests sat down to a most enjoyable luncheon.
